1954 Corvette

  I purchased this car approximately 20 years ago.  It is serial number E54S003034.  That makes this car the 2034th Corvette of 3640 1954 Corvettes built (the first car was S/N 001001).  So this car is a late production unit - probably May of 1954.  I have been collecting parts from across the USA during the entire 20 year period.  It is far from a Concourse Candidate but a great Street Class Car.  The body glass is in good condition and major operational parts are in place (i.e..  engine, gauges, power train, trim pieces, soft top).  I have been torn between restoring the car to original condition verses updating the power and drive train - making it a more roadworthy car.  My current direction is to rebuild  it with Original parts - I will not attempt to meet an NCRS Class - but it will pass the Layman's Inspection.
