The carburetor
linkage was in tact except for the butterfly linkage which connects the
carburetors to each other. With the original GM specs, a little sheet
steel and fuel line, I fabricated these in my garage. You can get
repos now but these are so close to original I don't think I will replace
them.
The correct breather configuration for my car
(late 54) is a dual pot system. I have a set of the bullet breathers
used on the early 54s - I will probably use them - they highlight the side
draft carb trio better anyway. |
